A worker(mostly women and children)for a Lacoste outsourced garment factory in Bangladesh earns $0.13 per hour, a single worker has to produce 26 Lacoste polo shirts a day, working 12-14 hours a day, 6 days a week. In Paris a Lacoste Polo shirt sells for an average of $168.00.
From Vincent's experience in the Borinage coal mines, Im sure he would have loved to get a chance to put his Hattori Hanzo to good work on those fucking Lacoste crocs.
Due to the recent events in Bangladesh, I just had to come back and post this, fully aware,of course, that a silly toon wont change a thing, oh well...
At least a young woman was pulled alive from the rubble in Bangladesh 17 days after the Dhaka clothing factory collapse.
I also wanted to take the chance to tell everybody that one of my comic strips is going to get published in FLUMP Vol 3 (out on May 15), Im estatic about this, for I am a huge fan of FLUMP [link]
and its clinically insane creator L-Tat the Third Eye Mad Prophet [link]
If you like my stuff one iota I rabidly encourage you to check out L-Tat his art is simply SUPERB, this mad brit is about to explode in the comic scene any time now and, like most artists who dare to be different and original, he is criminally underrated here on DA.
Im also having two of my short stories published in Seqapunch 'The only comic anthology thats printed and distributed quarterly in the U.S.' [link]
The theme for this issue was Sleep/Dreams
My two stories are
BOTTLED DREAMS illustrated by peruvian enfant terrible Gabriela Serruto,
ENNUI DREAMS Illustrated by the the Amazonian Teddy Boy Fabio Vermelho.
